The Associate HR Manager role is highly visible and impactful in creating and delivering value to our employees and our customers.
The Associate Manager partners with the Regional Human Resource Manager, and provides tactical and strategic HR support on a daily basis.
This position plays a lead role with employee matters, executes HR policies and procedures, and ensures data integrity in SAP (HRIS system) and People Solutions.
The role requires significant customer- and business partner orientation, the ability to work independently and influence at a senior level to effectively support behavioral, effective Employee Relations improvements. Additionally, and most importantly, the role will serve as a steward of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group’s values and organizational behaviors helping to shape our culture.
*Location and Travel: * This position will be office based in our new, state-of-the-art plant in Victorville, CA. The role may require minimal travel within the region based on business needs such as training, vacation coverage.

Position Responsibilities: * Key partner for business leaders ensuring the business has in place the most effective organization to deliver the business strategy. * Implement and apply HR processes, policies and standards meeting local legislation and cultural environment. * Partner with Plant Manager and other department managers to develop annual workforce strategy (perform workforce analysis including turnover, total compensation, organizational structure, engagement, etc.) * Coach and develop business partners in the areas of performance and talent management * Partner with regional HR team in development and facilitation of various training initiatives predicated on business needs and corporate goals. * Communicate effectively, professionally and humbly with frontline employees as well as senior executives in the organization. * Manage daily employee relations and perform initial investigations in regard to employee complaints and policy violations. Escalate to Regional HR Manager when necessary. * Implement and monitor HR compliance with DPS policy, HR systems, and federal/state law (including but not limited to 1-9s, personnel files, Worker’s Compensation, EEO, ADA, FMLA) * Track and report on open positions and help manage position requisition process for internal transfers to ensure accuracy of postings and internal movement. * Champion the “Call to Action” initiatives, statement of business principles, Corporate Social Responsibility, diversity and inclusiveness and utilize them to build a positive work environment. * Research and respond to initial unemployment requests for data as well as scheduling and notifying participants of upcoming hearings. * Develop communication materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, termination letters, and other correspondence).

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development or a similarly related field
- 3 years’ of HR Generalist and employee relations experience supporting a business group with remote and/or field-based employees in a manufacturing or sales and distribution setting
- 5 years’ experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
