Sales Effectiveness Program Director We are looking for a highly effective leader to own and champion CRM tools and processes within the salesforce effectiveness organization. The Sales Effectiveness Program Director, which will report to the VP of Sales Effectiveness, will work cross-functionally to ensure effective utilization and optimization of Anthem's CRM tool. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience in health insurance markets, products or distribution while being able to leverage CRM systems to optimize the sales process.

Essential responsibilities include: - Serve as product owner for local CRM in Agile methodology development. - Management, implementation, direction and prioritization of enterprise CRM strategy. - Establishment of program governance when needed to assure program optimization and implementation of tracking for program success. - Development of CRM program budget and assurance that CRM program achieves its stated goals. - Development of documentation to support meeting presentations. - Support of internal CRM tool optimization and use through customization, development of training, and promotion of best practices. - Cross-functional collaboration with marketing and sales leadership to champion CRM consistency and utilization. - Partnership with IT to drive changes to CRM functionality and customization. - Support relevant strategy projects within the sales organization to promote revenue growth.

Requires a BA/BS degree; 10 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred.

  • Sales and/or local market expertise preferred.
  • CRM or Salesforce.com development or implementation experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% required.
