Program Description
Big Bear Center for Change serves as an outpatient alcohol and drug treatment facility for adolescents and adults. We work with our clients in identifying the underlying causes of addiction and alcoholism, and then supporting them as they work to build a foundation of healthy coping skills. Our center provides outpatient recovery services, DUI Services and Drug Court treatment services to help our clients live drug and alcohol free and to respond effectively to life's challenges.

Works directly with the client to:
Provides orientation to the treatment program and the concept of sobriety,
Develops and implement treatment plans,
Provides counseling and recovery services, information and education, vocational training and relapse prevention,
Develops community resources for continued community treatment,
Assists other staff in dealing with problematic behavior,
Documents, reviews, and charts clients progress and completes all required paperwork on time,
Attends treatment meetings and provides input to treatment plan,
Prepares treatment and discharge plans and discharge summaries.

AOD Certified and/ or Registered
Clearance on Background/DOJ Live scan result
Negative reading from TB and Drug Tests
