Description

(16 hrs/wk) Some benefits. To serve as the administrator of The Salvation Army operations in the Barstow area under of the supervision of the Victor Valley Corps. Represent the Salvation Army in community meetings and service clubs. Maintain proper statistics,

including but not limited to persons served, persons contacted, meeting attendance, in office hours and volunteer hours. Process through Victor Valley monthly. Maintain the maintenance and security of Salvation Army property and vehicles assigned to the Barstow

Service Center. Responsible for all business and fiscal matters including, but not limited to record keeping, bookkeeping, banking, receiving and safeguarding donations. Maintain and secure Salvation Army property and vehicles. Maintain a valid California

Driver’s License with less than two violations in the last 12 months, or a DUI within the last 18 months and must pass a Fleet Safety Test. Qualifications: Minimum High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years ministry experience. Ability to communicate

effectively with staff. Demonstrated ability to work with various ethnic and socio-economic populations. Maintain a professional attitude and approach to problem solving. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Outlook helpful.
