The Staff VP Care Delivery Transformation (Provider Focused) is responsible for directing, managing, designing, and leading Care Delivery Transformation efforts across all Payment Innovation programs. The Staff VP will oversee the Commercial Enterprise CDT approach, driving strategies that target value-based contract opportunities related to quality improvement, cost of care and patient and provider experience.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Works directly with Clinically Integrated Networks, IPAs, and Health Systems to design and implement population level strategies intended to improve the quality of care and reduce the cost of care.

  • Designs and implements provider engagement strategies to encourage the adoption of best practices designed to improve the quality of care and reduce the cost of care for an attributed population of members.

  • Develops and maintains infrastructure and reporting for programs supporting the medical neighborhood.

  • Leads the clinical provider engagement for Payment Innovation work.

  • Collaborates with internal clinical, technical, and information management partners to identify and deliver a collaborative framework to support a transformation to patient-centered, high quality, cost effective care models.

  • Designs and manages strategy, planning, and strategic alignment of provider performance measurement reporting and reward programs.

  • Partners with others across enterprise to identify, prioritize, and integrate Cost of Care (COC) opportunities into Payment Innovation programs.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

  • Designs and implements programs to close clinical gaps in care, reduce total cost of care, and enhance clinical documentation by providers.

  • Requires an MBA, MHA or similar degree; 10+ years of management experience in healthcare operations, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement, or planning experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience with Fully Insured Commercial products and the Health Insurance Exchange preferred.

  • Experience with consulting, business development and/or sales preferred.

  • Significant experience managing clinical programs (Population Health, Care Management, Clinical Transformation, Practice Management, Etc.) strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving measurable outcomes highly preferred.

  • Approximately 30% travel required across all US time zones.

  • This role is a remote work location opportunity.
